MAGGI WRAPPER
In 1983 two events took place that changed our lives forever . First one was the famous ODI world cup triumph by Kapil's devils . But second one was something that slowly but surely altered tounge's wishlist of almost every common Indian. Friends ! it was the year when 'Maggi Noodles' was introduced in the Indian market.
Considering the unending connection between the readers and Maggi noodles , it's quiet weird for me to describe it.So i have decided to write about its wrapper.
We just can't neglect the importance of Maggi wrapper in our lives. For manufactures it is of great significance because of the very basic fact that before their product's taste enslaves consumer's tounge, its wrapper must make alluring presence to his eyes.
For me, Maggi wrapper is a cause of many sweet and sour memories of my life . I still remember when i was a kid , how much my eyes used to glow after seeing my parents coming from market and carrying new Maggi wrappers. I can't forget how, i used to devise 'n' number of ways to hide the wrappers from my mother's eye when i used to secretly cook it. Everytime after cooking it , i used to think that '' i am the most clever person who never get caught''. Friends ! let me tell you something which my mother tells me now. In reality all my 'n' number of ways were simply ineffective because she used to know about every wrapper. Even during my stay in boarding school, i had to formulate the ways to hide the wrappers from the eyes of warden . Well! there my 'n-1' number of ways were very successful because i can recall only one instance where the Maggi wrapper was the reason for the punishment from the warden. Even today , i look for wrappers in my home thinking my younger brother and sister must be doing the same which , i use to do in their age but i am still not able to find any. I think in this arena they are smarter than me .
You know! what is the similarity between a new Maggi wrapper in shop and pretty girls . Answer is the first thought that comes in my mind when i see them '' why the hell ! that is not mine?.I don't know whether its wrapper itself or contents inside it that makes it so attractive .
Everything printed on Maggi wrapper keep on changing from the first time i saw it such as, smiling people printed on it( sometime it is a similing mom or smiling kids , even sometime a hot girl to a whole smiling family) , text written on it (such as mrp, ingredients, nutritional values( i wonder they have it any)) and also the colours and fonts in which the word ''MAGGI'' is written but one thing has never changed and that is its background yellow colour which fascinates me even today from the day i first tasted Maggi.
So , friends! it was my feelings, opinions and memories about Maggi wrapper. I am very confident that you also must have some memories in your life and its wrapper . At last, the point i want to make is that even small and inconsiderate objects can be responsible for some great memories of our lives.( 'THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT')
